It is a peninsular country located in Southeast Asia, due to its location and its tropical climate is prone to earthquakes and typhoons ( typhoon last year 2013).


But these conditions also makes it a great place with a rich biodiversity andin natural resources. Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras were named World Heritage by the Unesco.Gracias their geographical conditions and biodiversity of the archipelago , the Philippines has many natural parks that serve as its main tourist attraction . The tourism industry began to develop from the 1970s , however, due to the conflicts in the country , was until the end of the next decade when tourism began to be an important part of local economic development .The Philippine tarsier is one of the smallest primates in the world.The extensive forests and coasts are home to a wide range of birds, plants , animals .
